Ingredients
115 oz. (425g)can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
8Medjool dates, pitted
1/4cup (60 g)tahini
2/3cupwater
2.5oz. (70 g)dark chocolate, melted
2tablespoonscocoa powder
1/2 teaspoonvanilla extract
1/4 teaspoonsalt
Instructions
Place all ingredients into the blender or high speed food processor.
Puree until it is smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides every few minutes so everything gets thoroughly mixed. Taste and add more dates for sweetness and more water (a tablespoon at a time) for the desired consistency and smoothness, if needed.
Transfer chocolate hummus to a bowl and serve with your favorite dippers.
