Ingredients

  • 2 (6 oz. (170 g) each) salmon fillets , skin on
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) mayonnaise
  • ½ tablespoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons (15 g) furikake

Instructions

  • Preheat the broiler. Position a rack 4-5 inches (10-13cm) from the broiler.
  • Line a baking sheet with foil and grease with oil or cooking spray. Put the salmon fillets, skin side down, on the baking sheet.
  • Combine the mayonnaise, soy sauce, and toasted sesame oil in a small bowl. Evenly spread the prepared mixture in a thin layer over the salmon fillets, then sprinkle furikake on top.
  • Broil the salmon fillets for 8 minutes, or until the desired doneness (the time depends on the thickness of the fish).
  • Serve the salmon fillets over rice, noodles, quinoa, or any whole-grain you like!
