Sometimes I need to “reboot” my body with something healthy. However, I am not a huge fan of sacrificing the taste for a healthy kick. If I am going to pack my body with vitamins and minerals, it should be as delicious as my daily food! Yeah, I know, I sound like a child who refuses to eat broccoli, but what you gonna do? I am who I am.

This mango avocado spinach smoothie helps me with the healthy + tasty task. It is delicious as hell and packed with the goodness! I am actually surprised that one cup of this smoothie can contain such a crazy amount of health benefits. Avocado + Mango + Spinach, oh boy! One sip of this green cocktail will wake Popeye in you!

If you have never tried adding avocado to smoothies before, it’s about time. This fruit or berry (yes, botanically it’s a berry) adds that lovely creamy texture you will love (my Vietnamese avocado smoothie is the epitome of creaminess). Moreover, the healthy fats in avocados help the body to absorb all the vitamins you are getting from smoothies. It sounds awesome, isn’t it?

And mangoes. One of my most favorite fruit ever. They just make everything better, especially smoothies. Doesn’t matter if they are blended with kiwis or with avocado, these sweet tropical beauties never disappoint.

This mango avocado spinach smoothie is a great choice for breakfast. It’s filling, rich, creamy, satisfying and energizing. It will help you to start a day on a high note and with a smile on your face! I’ve been having this smoothie every morning this week and I LOVE the effect. The energy level has gone up tremendously!

  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1 avocado , peeled and pitted
  • 1 mango , peeled and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2-4 ice cubes (optional)


  • Add all ingredients to blender and blend on high until smooth. Enjoy!

    I just made this smoothie … I am renaming it slimmer (from the ghost busters) in a blender

    Aroma is sweet, mainly cinnamon like smell, with a strong avocado taste

    What else you got?

    I tried this today! I altered it a little based on what I had and taste preference. I added another avocado, substituted milk with 1:1 almond milk and water, doubled the spinach, and put 1 extra tablespoon of honey to balance the extra avocado. I also skipped on the cinnamon. But it was very delicious and will definitely be a staple smoothie for my rotation! Thanks so much for the recipe!!
